Discover Fluonose Flat – our flattest scent container with a sliding lid that you can fit into any, even the tightest, gap. Equipped with a very strong neodymium magnet and a durable IMPACT plastic casing, this is the perfect gear for challenging scent training when you need to completely hide the sample from the dog's sight. Its compact dimensions allow for great flexibility, and the ability to mix colors will make personalizing your training set easier!
You know how it is when you enter the training area, trying to set up a challenging search for your dog, but your scent container simply doesn't fit in the chosen hiding spot. While practicing scent work, you’ve surely felt frustrated that the container sticks out from the wall, and your clever four-legged friend, instead of using their great nose, just searches for the sample visually. We thought about this and created equipment that solves the problem of tight and shallow gaps once and for all. Before you is the Fluonose Flat. This is our latest container for nosework and also the absolutely thinnest scent container in our entire offer!

To give you a great point of reference, this little one is half the height of our iconic and extremely popular container Fluonose Nano+. If you thought that Nano models could fit literally anywhere, the Flat plays in a completely different league. Its thickness is only 5 millimeters! You can easily hide it in places that were previously simply inaccessible for planning scent training.
We have eliminated the classic screw-on lid that takes up a lot of space. Instead, we used an incredibly convenient and quick sliding mechanism in the Fluonose Flat. The slider does not require strong pressing or complicated locks. It is simply very tightly and precisely fitted to the rest of the casing, so there is no chance it will open by itself in your jacket pocket or in a deep training bag. At the very top of the lid, we designed special elongated grooves. Be careful, these are not ventilation holes! This texture serves as a great non-slip coating. When you have dirty hands from sand after setting up the scent outdoors, your fingers won’t slip on the plastic. The slider also has a lock, so it won’t fall out on its own when opening. Of course, we ensured ease of cleaning. You just need to use a bit more force to completely pull it out of the guide when you want to prepare the container for a scent change.

Many manufacturers use cheap plastic from home 3D printers. Such scent containers quickly crack and lose layers of material. Our container is made from powerful IMPACT material, which withstands stepping on, dropping on concrete, and harsh weather conditions. Ease of maintenance is essential for working equipment.
Wondering how the scent escapes and where the sample is hidden? We solved this in a very clever way. We placed the ventilation holes on the short edge of the container and shaped them like a cute, tiny dog paw. This detail looks amazing in person and effectively releases scent molecules outside, creating a very clear scent cone. Inside, we hid a rectangular empty space, which is very easy to fill with, for example, a cut cosmetic pad soaked in hydrosol or essential oil. Since we sell containers completely empty and clean, you gain full flexibility and the ability to train with samples of any scent league.
A key element of any good scent work equipment is the attachment. That’s why we enclosed a very strong neodymium magnet in the heart of the container. The Fluonose Flat sticks to metal objects so strongly that you don’t have to worry about it being accidentally knocked off, even if you’re working with an exceptionally energetic and lively dog. Radiators, fence panels, veterinary steel tables, car frames, or door frames are now perfect places for creatively planning trials. This magnet simply works and does a great job in any conditions!

You’re probably wondering what exercises can best utilize the flat form of this container. We’ve prepared a wonderful and proven scent training scenario at home that both freshly minted scent work lovers and veterans of competitions adore. Let’s call this exercise "Gap Detection." We will use the fact that a classic thick scent container quickly reveals its position in tight areas.
Step 1: Gently slide the lid out of the Fluonose Flat container and place a cut piece of a pad with the scent of cinnamon or clove in the cut chamber. Close the container tightly, ensuring that no trace of your scent-carrying fingers remains on it.
Step 2: Find an old metal ribbed radiator or the door frame of a basement, between which there are really thin gaps. Remember, the radiator must be cold so that heat does not unpredictably interfere with the formation of the scent cone. Push our hero as deep into the gap as possible. The magnetic bottom will grab the metal instantly, completely immobilizing the container out of the dog’s sight. The thickness of five millimeters works its magic here.
Step 3: Call your dog near the starting point of the area and give the command to start scenting. Give the dog plenty of space and patiently observe their behavior. You will witness a beautiful analysis of the environment as, after checking the floors, the dog raises their head, following the particles flying straight from the dog paw cutouts in the container.
Step 4: When the dog accurately locates the source and firmly presses their nose to the hidden space, notifying you of their success, immediately come in with a powerful reward! Abundant praise and giving a solid portion of meaty treats will greatly build their confidence. Such training incredibly strengthens what is called focus on detail and precision, which is often rigorously evaluated in higher classes of nosework competitions.
