Brick replica – modular scent hiding for scent training is a modern and safe tool for Nosework and Scent work exercises. Thanks to its special design, the brick has independent, separated hiding spots for scent cans on both the right and left sides, allowing for varied training with both beginner and experienced dogs.
Each brick replica is designed to hold Fluonose Nano+ scent cans. The cans fit perfectly into the openings, allowing the scent to disperse evenly, and the wall inside prevents the scent from escaping out the back of the brick. This solution gives you full control over the intensity and location of the scent source.
Why is the brick replica better than a real brick?
One popular scenario is building a "mini wall" with several bricks connected together. In one of the bricks, you place a Fluonose Nano+ can with the target scent. The dog must then thoroughly sniff each brick to find the correct one. This type of training greatly develops the dog's concentration, patience, and precision in scent work.
Initially, you can require the dog to indicate the correct brick, and at higher levels of advancement, the dog should be able to indicate the specific opening in the brick where the scent carrier is hidden.
This arrangement can be used both at home and in a training room or garden, and thanks to the low weight of the bricks, you can easily move and change the layout of the wall.
