FluoClock is a compact, black "watch replica" where you can hide up to four Fluonose Nano+ scent cans. With inlets arranged on each side (top, bottom, left, right), you can create both simple sessions with one scent and advanced training with "deceptive" aroma samples.
Do you enjoy creative scent games, but classic tubes or cans scattered around the house no longer entertain you? FluoClock takes scent training to a whole new level – this clever “clock” measuring 135 × 70 × 50 mm hides four independent sockets, into which you can screw Fluonose Nano+ cans. Each socket “releases” scent through a different channel, so the dog must thoroughly sniff the device to indicate the correct outlet.

The whole thing weighs just 200 g, yet it won't move even after vigorous nudging with the snout – two steel weights embedded in the base ensure perfect stability. The IMPACT material is resistant to impacts and cracks, which is why FluoClock is suitable for both the living room and the lawn. After training, simply unscrew the cans and wash the equipment in warm soapy water. No complicated procedures – it should be quick, simple, and hygienic!

For whom? Fluoclock will be loved by scent training trainers who care about smoothly transitioning from beginner level (one scent, one outlet) to expert scenarios with diversions and distractions. It’s also an ideal gadget for hobbyists looking for a mobile solution – just toss the clock into your backpack, a few cotton pads with oil, and you can train in the park, in the garage, or even in a hotel room during competitions.

To start, screw one can with clove oil into the socket “12 o'clock”. Leave the other three sockets empty – this way, the dog will quickly associate that only one spot emits scent. Once it can accurately indicate the outlet, add two more cans: one with orange aroma (socket “3 – right wall”), and one completely empty (socket “6 – bottom”), which will serve as a neutral distraction.
Scent work experts recommend gradually increasing the number of “blind” ports and changing the scent concentration so that the student focuses on the source, not just the scent trail in the air. A similar exercise with a scent wheel can be seen in practice in the training video “Detection Training with Two Scent Wheels,” where the dog compares hot, empty ports and those with distractions.
When your dog starts to immediately “source,” it’s time to move on to the full set of four cans – three with different oils and one completely neutral. Rotate the order of the sockets, shorten the response time, and add external stimuli (open window, fan) to simulate competition conditions.
Ready to take your nosework to the next level? Place Fluoclock on the floor, toss in your favorite Nano+ cans and... time to start!
