🌲 Complex scent flow – the scales of a pine cone cause the scent to escape differently than from a smooth mushroom. It's a perfect puzzle for a dog's nose.
🤲 Sensory perception – the rough surface accustoms the dog to touching "more difficult" objects with its nose.
