Do you feel that your dog during scent training "pats" the sample with its paw, nibbles at the boxes, or gives up too quickly on keeping its nose at the source of the scent? Or maybe you're looking for a way to explain to it that the reward doesn't fall from the sky (i.e., from you), but magically appears at the very heart of the scent? If you're nodding your head now, we have a game-changer for you. Introducing Training Collar - Target for Scentwork – a tool that will turn your training sessions into pure pleasure and precision!
This is not just an ordinary tube printed on a 3D printer. This is thoughtful training engineering, designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, to solve the most common technical problems in scent work.

The main problem in learning marking (freezing at the sample) is the moment of rewarding. When the dog smells the scent and you reach for the treat pouch, the dog often pulls its nose away to look at you. Our collar eliminates this mistake!
The devil is in the details, and in the case of our collar, that detail is the double bottom. Inside the target, there is a removable, perforated shelf in a contrasting yellow color. This is not just an ordinary divider!
The shelf has openings in the shape of cute dog paws 🐾. They look great, but their main function is to allow free flow of scent particles from bottom to top, straight to your dog's nose. You can safely place (or toss through the back opening) even small treats on it, without worrying that they will fall to the bottom of the scent can. It's hygienic and super convenient!

The space under the yellow shelf is your "scent laboratory." We designed the bottom to be maximally versatile:
Many manufacturers printing 3D accessories use cheap PLA material. It is biodegradable, but unfortunately... weak. Just leave such equipment in a hot car during summer, and the collar may deform and "flow."
We at Fluo.Dog do not cut corners. Our collar is made of PETG. This engineering material is characterized by:

Everything you need to know about the dimensions:
Not sure how to start your adventure with the target? Here’s a simple training scenario that will help your dog understand that putting its nose in the collar = super reward. Remember, don't rush!
Stage 1: Building value (without scent)
Place the collar in front of the dog. Do not put the scent underneath yet. Prepare a handful of tasty treats. As soon as the dog shows interest in the collar and brings its nose close to the opening, quickly toss a treat through the back opening onto the yellow shelf.
Goal: The dog learns that the reward materializes inside the tube, not in your hand. The lip on the shelf will ensure that the treat doesn't escape!
Stage 2: Adding scent
Lift the yellow shelf (just insert a finger through the paw opening or push from below) and place a scent sample (e.g., cinnamon in a Mini+ can) at the bottom. Cover with the shelf. Now require the dog to put its nose deeper. When it does – immediately reward through the back opening.
Goal: The dog begins to associate the scent of cinnamon with the appearance of the reward.
Stage 3: Extending time (Freeze)
When the dog eagerly puts its head in, delay the reward by a second, then two. The dog, waiting for the "magic delivery," will freeze in place, sniffing the source. This is the famous passive marking we are fighting for! Thanks to the paw-shaped openings, the scent continuously stimulates the dog's nose, helping it maintain position.
