Introduce your nosework training into the third dimension! HoneySystem Magnetic Mount is a set of two individual modules equipped with strong neodymium magnets. They allow for quick and stable attachment of large scent boards to any metal surface, such as a refrigerator or door. Compatible with the entire HoneySystem ecosystem and Fluonose Nano+ cans, made of waterproof PETG material.

If you are training with your dog in nosework, you know very well that after a while, searching for scents on the floor becomes too easy for the pet. Dogs are clever, they quickly catch on to patterns. To keep scent training continuously developing your dog's nose and brain, we need to change the environment and the placement of samples. That's exactly why we created the HoneySystem Magnetic Mount.
This unassuming but incredibly powerful accessory opens up entirely new possibilities for you. Thanks to the built-in strong neodymium magnets, you can attach this small module to your large HoneySystem board (honeycomb) and with one motion stick the whole thing to the refrigerator, a metal door frame, or the body of a car. You go vertical, and that changes absolutely everything for the dog in terms of airflow and the scent cone!

Many dog handlers fear that vertical training setups will quickly end up on the floor with a loud crash as soon as the dog hits them harder with its nose. Not with us. In these small, individual modules, we have enclosed top-quality neodymium magnets. They are so strong that they guarantee complete stability.
The principle is very simple. We recommend using one magnetic module for one large HoneySystem board (the one with 15 holes). Since this set includes 2 mounting pieces, you can easily hang a structure made of two connected honeycombs on the wall. Such stability allows the dog to work freely and aggressively in scent work without the risk of knocking over the equipment.
We designed our magnetic mounts to be an integral part of the entire puzzle. What does that mean in practice? The single module with a magnet has exactly the same shape and the same securing protrusions as the edges of the large boards. It works like a classic puzzle. You slide it into the side opening of the large board, hear a gentle click, and it's done. The structure becomes one cohesive unit.
But that's not all! This small module is itself a miniature scent board. Its main opening has exactly the same dimensions (30 mm in diameter) as the tunnels in the large honeycombs. So you can successfully slide a Fluonose Nano+ scent can into it and use it as a standalone hidden magnetic hide. Clip the single module under metal radiator pipes, beside the washing machine, or under the car chassis while out for a walk. It's a brilliant way to diversify daily exercises, especially in small apartments where there isn't much space to spread out large mats.
Like the entire HoneySystem series, the magnetic modules are made from modern PETG material. Why is this so important? Ordinary, cheap plastic has micropores that easily absorb scent molecules from essential oils and a lot of dog saliva. As a result, after a few months, such equipment smells like "dog and cinnamon," misleading the pet in subsequent training sessions. Our material does not absorb foreign scents, is completely resistant to sunlight and weather conditions. When you finish exercises in mud or your dog just drools a lot on the module, you can toss it in the sink, wash it in warm water, wipe it down, and the equipment is sterile, ready for the next puzzle.
Want to see how magnetic modules change the rules of the game? Let's do a simple but very educational training that teaches the dog to work in different layers of air. Let's move the exercises from the floor to a large vertical surface, such as a refrigerator or metal front door.
Step 1: Attaching the blocks
Grab your large HoneySystem module (honeycomb) and attach two magnetic mounts from this set to its edges. They will act as stable "ears." Then hang the prepared board on a metal surface, low enough, roughly at the height of your dog's nose.
Step 2: Setting up the puzzle
Place a scented cotton ball that the dog already knows (for example, clove) into one of the Nano+ cans and put it in the bottom row of tunnels on the board. Leave the remaining openings empty or add a few false scents in other places. Send the dog to search. When it accurately locates the sample at nose height, reward it generously.
Step 3: Going up (Difficulty increases!)
Now the magic begins. Remove the entire board and attach it much higher – for example, halfway up the refrigerator, above the dog's line of sight. Place the target scent in the highest tunnel of the module. When you send the dog to search now, it will have to deal with completely different physics. The scent trapped higher slowly descends, forming a cone. The dog will first catch the aroma at the floor level and then will have to "climb" its nose up the front of the refrigerator, analyzing the scent until it reaches the source. When it independently finds the sample in the top row and offers a signal (e.g., freezing with its head held high), it will receive an absolute jackpot of rewards.
This type of training drastically improves the dog's understanding of the physics of scent molecules and builds its confidence in unusual, home situations. With HoneySystem magnetic mounts, you can organize such exercises in literally thirty seconds!
