With its modular design, you decide how your bamboo "forest" will look – you can start with simple, low structures and gradually introduce more challenging setups with scent searches at different heights.
The bamboo segments connect with sturdy threads, allowing for stable and quick configuration of the set. At the end of each segment, there is a socket for the scent can Fluonose Nano+ (or other cans with a diameter of up to 13 mm). The modular insert for the pot measures 20x20 cm, and can be used independently or combined with other modules to create a larger “scent meadow.”
Scent Bamboo is not only an aesthetic enhancement to training but also a great way to develop your dog's nose. You can modify the height and arrangement of the bamboos depending on your dog's skill level. Searching for scent at different heights teaches the dog greater precision, concentration, and expands its scenting abilities.
To start, set all bamboo segments at the same height, placing the scent can in one of them. Allow the dog to freely sniff and reward when it finds the source of the scent. Gradually increase the difficulty level by placing some bamboos higher, others lower, and placing the can in different locations. You can also create “decoys” where some bamboos have no scent – this is an excellent exercise in concentration and patience.
