Do you already have an IKEA board and our bamboo scent sticks, but don't know how to combine them cleverly? These adapters are the simplest solution possible. Each holder has a threaded socket into which you screw the bamboo stick directly. Insert the whole thing through the hole in the SKÅDIS board and secure it from the back with a nut. You don't need screwdrivers or pliers – just tighten the nut with your fingers and the bamboo stick will sit firmly and securely, even if your dog is very energetic.
The set includes 10 sets (holder + nut), which gives you plenty of scope for planning your training sessions. You can create a dense network of samples between which your dog will have to navigate precisely with its nose. Our adapters are printed from the same durable plastic as the rest of the Fluo accessories. They are white, so they blend in perfectly with the board without distracting the dog with unnecessary colours. Importantly, if there is any smell or saliva left on the adapters after training, you can wash them in warm water with detergent without any worries. It is a clean and hygienic alternative to home remedies such as tape or glue, which leave dirty marks on the board.

Preparation: Mount all 10 adapters on the SKÅDIS board at different intervals. Screw 10 bamboo sticks into them. Place a cotton ball with a scent (e.g. cinnamon or orange) in only one of them, leaving the others empty ("clean").
Task: Let the dog search the board. Because all the bamboo sticks look identical and are mounted in the same way, the dog must rely solely on its nose and not on visual cues. When the dog accurately indicates the scented bamboo stick, reward it immediately at the source. This type of training is great for building the dog's confidence and teaching it that it is worth checking each point carefully before making a decision.
