Turn your IKEA SKÅDIS board into a professional nosework trainer with our dedicated supports that provide stability without the need to drill into walls. The special "click" mounting system allows you to set up a training station in seconds, and the optimal angle of inclination ensures that the board will not tip over even when the dog is working energetically. It is the perfect solution for creating mobile "scent meadows" and multi-level training both at home and at the club.
Do you have an IKEA SKÅDIS board at home and wonder how to get more out of it during nosework training? Our supports are the missing link that turns an ordinary wall organiser into a mobile command centre for your dog's nose. We know that not everyone wants or is able to drill holes in their walls, so we've created a solution that allows you to place the board anywhere – in your living room, on the grass or in a training hall. Thanks to them, your dog can work anywhere, and you can be sure that the entire structure will withstand even the most enthusiastic "marking" of samples.

At Fluo, we focus on practicality, which is why installing the legs is very easy. Forget about screwdrivers and instructions – just click the supports into the holes in the board and you're done! The press-fit system holds everything firmly and securely. What's more, once the legs are attached, the board stands at a slight angle. This is a deliberate design feature that not only improves the aesthetics but, above all, prevents the set from tipping over if the dog accidentally pushes it from behind or nudges it too hard with its nose.
Our supports are not just ordinary "pieces of plastic". We have made them from high-quality, durable plastic that will withstand years of intensive training. Unlike cheap substitutes, Fluo products are weather-resistant. So you can train in the garden with confidence, and when you're done, wash the supports in warm water with detergent. Hygiene is crucial in nosework, especially when working with natural scents, so we've made sure that keeping your equipment clean is a breeze.

This is where the real fun begins! If you buy two sets of supports (i.e. a total of 4 pieces), you can mount them on both sides of the board to create a stable "table" about 15 cm high. This setup is a real game-changer in dog scent training. Because the board is raised above the ground, you can mount scent hides not only on top but also underneath. This forces the dog to work on multiple levels – it has to check whether the scent is escaping from under the structure, which greatly builds its independence and accuracy.
This configuration allows you to create a ready-made training ring, which we call a "scent meadow". You can permanently mount our sunflowers, mushrooms or bamboos on the board and have a ready-made set that you simply place on the ground and start the session. It is an ideal solution for learning to differentiate scents and for working on precise marking in more difficult conditions, where the scent can "leak" under the board.
Why choose Fluo supports? Because we know that details matter in nosework. Our products are designed by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. Unlike mass-produced products, our accessories are tested for durability and dog safety. The white colour blends in perfectly with the original IKEA style, giving your home training ground a professional and aesthetic look. Remember that our supports are compatible with the entire range of Fluo holders, allowing you to customise your training set as you wish.
By using four supports (two sets) and creating a "table" shape, you can conduct advanced detection training. The following scenario is based on popular "scent enrichment" exercises used by professional nosework trainers around the world.
Step 1: Preparation. Mount several different Fluo holders (e.g., tulip, mushroom, and sunflower) on the board. Place a clean scent can with a sample in one of them (remember that Fluonose cans have a magnet, which makes them easy to attach securely). Additionally, use one of the holders to attach a scent sample to the bottom of the board, in a completely different place than the one on top.
Step 2: The dog's work. Bring the dog into the "meadow" area. Allow it to freely explore the top surface of the board. The dog will most likely find the top sample quickly. Reward it at the place where it found it. Then, without interrupting the session, encourage the dog to continue searching. Thanks to the 15-centimetre gap, the scent from the sample underneath will escape through the sides and holes in the board. The dog will need to be very patient to understand that the source of the scent is lower down.
Step 3: Marking. When the dog locates the source under the board (often by putting its nose underneath or sniffing intensely at a specific hole), give the reward command. This training teaches the dog that the scent can be at different heights, even within the same object, which is crucial in exams and competitions.
