Accordion Scent Strip with three scent channels is the bigger sister of our Kaiser roll for nosework. It has the form of a small baguette, but inside it hides as many as 3 independent scent channels, into which Fluonose Nano+ cans are screwed from the bottom. Each channel ends with a set of 5 small ventilation holes, allowing the scent to be released pointwise through the cuts on the top of the bread.
At first glance, it looks like a small baguette that accidentally landed on the ground. And that's the point. In nosework, such non-obvious, environmental hides work great because the dog is not looking for a specific can, tube, or familiar shape. It has to work with its nose and reach the source of the scent, even if the source is hidden in an object that looks completely ordinary.
The accordion scent strip is designed for those training nosework, scent work, and scent detection who want to diversify their dog's training. It works well for both dogs that are just learning scent work and for more experienced teams that need more interesting, realistic hides. At the bottom of the baguette, there are three threaded sockets. This is where you screw in the Fluonose Nano+ cans.
