Thanks to the precise drive and new construction, the carousel operates smoothly, stably, and without the slightest risk of disconnection – even with energetic dogs.
What's new in version 2.0?
1️⃣ New construction – even greater durability
The completely redesigned body based on a single, solid axis with bearings guarantees stability even with intensive use. In previous versions, the upper body could disconnect from the drive – this problem has now been completely eliminated. The carousel remains rigid and precise, even if the dog accidentally nudges or knocks it over.
2️⃣ Slowed rotations – perfect for sensitive dogs
The new gear ratio slows down the movement of the arms by about 30% in all modes. As a result, the carousel rotates more smoothly and gently – ideal for dogs who are just starting their adventure with nosework or are skittish. Three speeds, direction change mode, and pulsing mode are still available – but now at a much calmer pace.
3️⃣ New baskets – airtight and easy to disassemble
The baskets are now attached using practical knobs, allowing for quick disassembly in seconds. This makes the entire carousel more compact when assembled and easy to store. Additionally, the baskets are now fully airtight – the scent only escapes from the top, making the scent cone more precise and concentrated.
4️⃣ Knobs for attaching legs – quick assembly and disassembly
The new knobs at the base allow for rapid unscrewing of the legs without using force. Previously, they were snap-on, but now you just need to slightly loosen the knob to fold the carousel and store it in a bag or cabinet. Simpler, faster, and more convenient – especially in the field!

Example training with the scent carousel
Training with Carousel 2.0 allows the dog to develop precision in nose work, concentration, and the ability to distinguish scents in motion. Ideal for nosework, scent work, scent training, and scent activities for sport and hobby dogs.
- Place the scent in the Fluonose Mini+ can and put it in one of the baskets.
- Allow the dog to familiarize itself with the device – let it calmly sniff the baskets.
- Initially, turn on the slowest mode and reward the dog for each correct scent indication.
- Gradually increase the speed, adding more scents or using the direction change mode.
- For more advanced dogs – use several cans with different scents (including confusing ones) to increase the difficulty level.
Always adjust the training level to the dog's temperament – not every dog will immediately like moving elements. Remember to make training a form of fun and a positive challenge!
