Neodymium magnets placed in all side walls allow you to connect several Pro Tiles into larger fields that won't slide apart during your dog's scent detection work. There are 17 line colors to choose from, allowing you to easily distinguish individual boards and remember the location of hidden scent sources when using multiple tiles for advanced nosework challenges.
If you're already familiar with the Scent Tile, you know how many possibilities a small board with a dense grid of scent points offers. The Magnetic Scent Tile Pro retains everything that worked well in the previous version but adds several solutions that will be particularly appreciated by trainers who conduct regular nosework sessions, work with multiple dogs, or design more elaborate scent searches.
On the board, you'll find a whopping 169 holes arranged in 13 rows and 13 columns. Each point now has its own designation, much like squares in the game of Battleship: columns are marked with letters from A to M, and rows with numbers from 1 to 13. This allows you to pinpoint the exact location of the scent source without guessing. Instead of saying "somewhere in the left part of the board," you can simply record or tell your student: G7.
The entire surface of the Scent Tile Pro remains black, making the board clear and non-distracting during scent work. Instead of the large logo from the previous version, we've used colored lines that divide the board into nine larger sections.
With a single Scent Tile, it's easy to remember where you hid the sample. The challenge begins when the training becomes more elaborate. Several boards arranged side-by-side provide a much larger area for scent work, and remembering a dozen or even several dozen exact locations isn't always so obvious anymore.
This is precisely where the A–M and 1–13 designations prove their worth. Before starting a search, you can prepare specific locations, note them down, or pass them on to another trainer. You can also use the coordinates when discussing the scent work session with a student. Instead of pointing a finger at a specific spot, simply say that the source was, for example, in square D4.
This is especially convenient during training sessions. The trainer can observe the dog while simultaneously having clear information about the exact location of the sample. For subsequent repetitions, you can change the location and quickly record the new setup. The Scent Tile thus becomes not only an exercise tool but also a very convenient instrument for planning and discussing scent detection training.
Colored lines divide the board into nine larger areas. This means that even with a quick glance at several connected Scent Tiles, you can easily orient yourself to where a given spot is located.
The lines on the Scent Tile Pro are available in 17 different colors. It's not just about the appearance; color can be a very practical element in organizing larger scent work sessions.
Imagine several Scent Tiles arranged side-by-side. One has red lines, another blue, a third green, and another yellow. When preparing a scent detection exercise, you can record not only the coordinates but also the color of a specific board. This makes the location even more unambiguous. For example, you can indicate the source as blue Scent Tile, H6 or red Scent Tile, C11.
This solution can be particularly convenient during group classes. When several dogs perform successive repetitions on a larger configuration, the colored boards help quickly locate the correct part of the setup. You can also use different colors during subsequent sessions, making it easier to distinguish between previously prepared configurations for canine scent work.

The Magnetic Scent Tile Pro retains the design known from the standard Scent Tile. You still have 169 scent points at your disposal, arranged in a 13 × 13 layout, and the use of two types of holes allows you to vary the nature of the scent detection exercise.
Larger paw-shaped holes are a good choice when you want to prepare an easier task. Smaller, approximately 3-millimeter micro-holes, allow you to limit the area from which the scent emanates, and prepare a more challenging exercise for precise source localization in canine scent work.
You can further adjust the difficulty level by using Fluonose Nano+ scent tins. Thanks to their small size, you can place the tins in selected points on the board, and the scent intensity adjustment allows you to gradually change the difficulty of the task. In one configuration, you can use one tin with the target scent, and in the next, add more elements and increase the number of potential places the dog needs to check thoroughly.
