Do you know that feeling when, on your way to a nosework training session, your whole car starts to smell strongly of cinnamon or cloves? So do we. On the one hand, it’s quite a pleasant scent, but from the point of view of precise dog nose training – it’s a real disaster! If the scent samples you’ve got in your rucksack aren’t properly sealed, the scent will cling to your clothes, hands and the boot long before you even enter the search area. The result? When the dog enters the ring, instead of searching for the source, it picks up the ‘scent cloud’ straight from your pocket. To prevent this, zip-lock bags or ordinary cream jars are definitely not enough. You need an airtight solution that blocks out 100% of the scent. And that’s exactly why we’ve created our bright green Fluonose Mini Airtight Can Container!
The container features a sturdy, black cap with a seal. When you screw it on, the seal presses perfectly against the lower rim, creating a barrier against volatile essential oil molecules.
We use high-quality, highly durable PETG plastic in its manufacture. Unlike cheap plastics, PETG absorbs virtually no foreign odours. Simply wash the container in warm water with washing-up liquid after removing the tins, and you’ll have a sterile, clean container ready for use. No more boxes that reek of orange for the rest of your life!
Let’s be honest – when training with dogs, our hands lead a life of their own. One moment they’re wet from the rain, the next they’re covered in saliva after rewarding the dog with a tug toy, and another time they’re sticky with greasy treats. Try unscrewing a smooth, slippery jar in those circumstances. With this in mind, we’ve ensured perfect ergonomics. The bright green container body is decorated with an embossed pattern of cute dog paws, whilst the black lid features raised ridges. This contrast in textures provides an incredibly secure grip (anti-slip grip). Even in thick mud or whilst wearing gloves, you’ll have no trouble closing and opening your ‘aroma safe’.

If you’re going for a covert walk, nothing inside will rattle about or make an irritating clinking noise in your rucksack (dogs recognise that sound perfectly well and get excited far too early!).
