It consists of two screwable halves, inside which there is a scent chamber with a diameter of about 17 mm and a height of 25 mm. You can place a Fluonose Nano+ canister or a scent sample directly inside, and five small holes allow the scent to escape. The replica is made from durable material with properties similar to ABS and can be washed in warm soapy water.
The truffle is sold without a scent canister, but during the purchase, you can choose from 1 to 6 Fluonose Nano+ canisters with adjustable scent intensity.
Black truffles have a rather unassuming but very distinctive appearance. Our replica mimics their irregular, bulbous shape and surface covered with numerous bumps. The dark brown color further helps to camouflage it in a natural environment. The Large Truffle Tracker is perfect for setting up searches in the garden, forest, or grassy areas. You can place it among roots, hide it among leaves, or shallowly bury it in the ground. It works well for both classic scent training and exercises with the scent of real truffles.
Simply unscrew the two halves of the truffle to access the cylindrical chamber with a diameter of about 17 mm and a height of 25 mm. You can place a Fluonose Nano+ canister with adjustable scent intensity inside or use the chamber without an additional container by placing, for example, a sample of natural truffle or a properly prepared scent carrier inside. The Nano+ canister is placed loose, without screwing or securing. After placing the sample, just screw both parts back together, and the truffle is ready for training.
On the surface of the truffle, there are five small holes through which the scent from the inner chamber escapes. The holes are discreetly integrated into the characteristic texture of the replica. When hiding or shallowly burying the truffle, you do not need to position them in a specific direction. However, after training in the ground, it is advisable to check if they have been blocked by soil particles and clean them thoroughly.
