Scent Ivy allows you to prepare challenging nosework training sessions with well-hidden samples. Among the leaves, it conceals 10 magnetic holders for the olive Fluonose Nano+ cans, which are hard to spot from a few meters away. The flexible wire core enables you to hang the ivy on a fence, wrap it around branches, or lay it on forest litter. The holders can also be detached and used independently - on metal surfaces or real bushes.
Nosework training can be even more exciting when the scent sample is not only hidden but also blends well into the surroundings. Scent Ivy allows you to create such hiding spots. The garland is about a meter long, resembles a real plant, and conceals up to 10 magnetic scent points among its leaves. This way, you can set up a training session where the handler does not know where the actual sample is located and cannot inadvertently guide the dog with their gaze.

Inside the ivy, there is a flexible wire core that allows you to easily shape it as needed. Wrap it around a fence post, hang it on a branch, or drape it over the back of a piece of furniture during indoor training. You can also use the end of the wire to secure the ivy to the bark of a tree. The possibilities are numerous – just adjust the arrangement to the location where you want to conduct the training.

The camouflage is primarily due to the dense arrangement of leaves and the chosen color scheme. The green attachments blend well with the ivy, and the included Fluonose Nano+ cans are in a color that matches the entire garland. With the right arrangement, the leaves effectively conceal the cans, making them difficult to spot from several meters away. We experienced this ourselves during testing – after attaching the ivy to a real plant, finding the hidden points was not always obvious.
The green can holders are not permanently attached. You can easily detach them from the ivy and use them independently of the entire garland. Just unscrew the cap located at the back of the holder with your fingers, and then attach it in your chosen location.
Do you have a real bush nearby? Clip the holder directly to its branches. Want to set up training on a metal surface? The built-in magnet allows you to use the holder on metal as well. A gate, fence, metal post, or even a radiator can become another place for work.
Features and Technical Specifications:

You can purchase the Scent Ivy in two variants. If you already have your own Fluonose Nano+ cans, choose just the ivy with ten holders and one can. If you want a complete set right away, choose the variant with 10 matching Nano+ cans in olive color.
You can also combine the ivy with other outdoor hiding spots. Small Scent Mushrooms and Fly Agarics can complement the search and create a more diverse working environment. Placed in the grass, under the hanging ivy, they will allow you to prepare a truly interesting task for your dog.
The ivy is perfect for training where you want to limit the handler's ability to unintentionally guide the dog. Prepare the ivy and place the actual scent sample in one of the ten Nano+ cans. Place all the cans in the green holders. You can leave the remaining nine empty or use them to work with a chosen distracting scent.
Find a piece of fencing or mesh nearby and wrap the ivy around it. Arrange it so that the cans are well hidden among the leaves and are not easy to spot from several meters away.
Lead the dog to the designated starting line and allow it to begin the search. Your task is to observe its work, not to indicate the location of the hidden sample. If you do not know exactly where the actual can is, the dog cannot use your gaze, gestures, or body positioning as clues.
When the dog finds the correct scent and indicates it properly, praise and reward it. This is a simple way to prepare a training session where the discovery of the sample is primarily determined by the dog's nose, not by the handler's hints. 👃🐶
