Scent Snowflake is a unique training platform designed for dogs working at the highest level of precision. This large, 25-centimeter flake has as many as 25 threaded sockets, allowing you to screw in Fluonose Nano+ cans in any configuration - from classic marking of a single scent to complex setups with multiple distractors. It is an excellent tool for both home scent training and advanced work with sporting dogs and dogs trained for scent detection.
The flake is designed to provide the dog access to clear scent cones. Above each socket, there are special holes that release the scent directly towards the dog's nose. This way, even delicate samples are easily detectable, and the dog learns to mark correctly more quickly.

Remember that all Nano+ cans are sold without scents, so you can use any of your own materials - a cotton ball with oil, a natural sample, or a ready-made scent solution. The product can be safely washed in warm water with a mild detergent.

Matrix training is one of the most popular exercises used in scent work, especially when working on marking precision.
Preparation:

- 📐 Place the flake on the floor or hang it on a branch (by itself through the arm of the flake).
Course of the exercise:
- 🐾 Encourage the dog to enter the scent cone.
- 🕵️ The dog searches all 25 scent points.
- ✔️ Upon finding the correct scent, it performs a mark (sit, stop, freeze nose - according to training).
Why does it work?
The matrix of multiple scent points teaches the dog to work under the pressure of distractors. It also teaches it to calm down, read the scent precisely, and focus on one point. This is one of the most effective exercises for developing the confidence of a scent-working dog.
