Thanks to its impressive length and aggressive thread, the tin stays firmly in sand, deep snow, or loose soil, preventing it from being dug out by a working dog. We designed this scent hiding container specifically so you can create challenging scenarios in sand, mud, or snowdrifts. The long casing ensures the hide anchors incredibly securely. You can screw it in very deeply, confident it will stay exactly where you left it.

After a successful canine scent training session, you can simply toss the container into warm water, add some detergent, and wash away all the mud and scent residue. Just like the shorter Pro version, the **new Fluonose Underground has no mechanical scent intensity adjustment**. And this is entirely intentional! Any mechanical adjustment can easily get clogged with sand or blocked by mud. We prioritize reliability. With this container, you control the stimulus strength as dictated by the best nosework practices: by the depth of screwing it in, the thickness of the covering, and the time elapsed from hiding the sample to the dog's start. No complicated mechanics simply means zero failures. And if you still want additional, internal adjustment, you can always purchase and place our proven Fluonose Nano+ series container inside.
When designing this model, we made sure it fits the system you already know from our shorter containers. The scent container has sockets perfectly matched to the **screwing-in handle**. Believe me, screwing a 13-centimeter cone into slightly frozen sand can be a challenge for your fingers. The key protects your hands and allows you to securely embed the container in the ground.
The top of the hide also has a non-through hole for our standard, flexible **red rubber markers**. Thanks to them, you always know exactly where you buried the sample, and the red rubber is safe for dog paws, even if your pet steps on it firmly.
The container is sold as a single product (without Nano+ included), but you can easily select the appropriate number of inserts directly on the product page. They'll come in handy if you prefer to keep cotton swabs in a smaller container before placing the entire unit in the ground.
