The auction lot contains 5 interlocking honeycomb-shaped modules, giving a total of 75 scent points, and we’re throwing in a small, two-chamber green module for FREE! The modules are fully functional prototypes (they have minor cosmetic flaws such as a small hole or slight warping). They fit together with our standard products but do not have locking tabs. The set is made from durable, washable PETG plastic – ideal for building scent mats.

This number of components gives you a total of 75 deep scent tunnels! It’s the perfect solution for instructors and enthusiasts who want to build extensive ‘carpets’ or complex scent walls in the comfort of their own home.
When you buy this set, you gain freedom. Arrange the modules into long paths, wide squares or irregular, branching routes. The 75 openings give you incredible possibilities for planning training in advanced scent discrimination.
What sets HoneySystem apart is its modular design. The edges of each honeycomb module are designed to interlock perfectly – simply slide one module into another.
IMPORTANT: The modules included in this set are pre-production versions. This means they’ll fit together seamlessly with other honeycomb modules (even those from our regular range!), but they lack the small ‘click’ protrusion. The result? They work perfectly when lying on the ground, but when carrying the connected set in the air, they may slip apart. It’s like a giant jigsaw puzzle, but for dog owners!
Intense training sessions mean lots of sniffing and even more excitement (and drool!). That’s why we’ve made the entire system from durable PETG plastic. It’s extremely resistant to moisture and mechanical damage. After an intense session where your dog has thoroughly slobbered all over the tunnels, simply take the modules into the bath or shower and rinse them with warm water and a mild detergent. No absorption of foreign odours, and complete sterility for the next training session.
Connect 5 modules into a single compact board and place it on a non-slip mat (the plastic may slide on bare surfaces). Hide the target scent in one of the 75 holes. Leave the rest of the tunnels empty, and hide a decoy (e.g. dried tea) at the other end of the board. Give your dog the command. With such a large area to search, the dog must switch to a mode of thorough, methodical scanning. It will carefully ‘sweep’ row by row to eventually pinpoint that one correct spot. This is fantastic training for building perseverance in scent work!
